Soviet style expert building

The Soviet style expert building residential community was built in the 1950s, with a brick and wood structure and a building area of 1000 square meters. It is the most well preserved landmark building in Bajiaogou Valley, which best reflects the Soviet style architectural style. During the period when the Soviet Union aided the construction of the Dama Hydropower Station, it once lived in Soviet experts. Later, as a senior cadre and model worker residence in Jiayang Coal Mine, it was transformed into an expert building hotel in 2014, becoming a key project for Bajiaogou Valley to successfully apply for a provincial tourist resort. In 2019, it was named as the National Industrial Heritage.
